Toddler – Preschool – Kindergarten

At Metta School, our Preschool and Kindergarten programs are designed to nurture children aged 1–6 years old through meaningful, joyful, and engaging learning experiences. We believe that every child is unique and learns best in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.

We implement the Cambridge Early Years framework, an internationally recognized program that supports young learners in developing strong foundations in communication, literacy, mathematics, creativity, physical development, and personal and social skills. The Cambridge Early Years curriculum encourages children to become confident, curious, and independent learners through inquiry-based and play-based learning experiences.

Our classrooms are designed to promote active participation, exploration, creativity, and collaboration. Through hands-on activities and guided discovery, children are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop a lifelong love for learning.

In addition to the Cambridge framework, we integrate elements from the Indonesian National Curriculum while also incorporating the Montessori approach into our daily learning experiences. By blending these methods, we create a unique educational environment that supports individualized learning, self-directed activity, independence, and hands-on exploration — all of which are essential principles of the Montessori philosophy.

To further support holistic child development, we provide bilingual exposure in English and Mandarin, helping students build confidence in communication from an early age while maintaining fluency in Bahasa Indonesia.

We also partnered with Stretch-n-Grow in Indonesia to enrich our Physical Education program. Through this collaboration, children participate in active, fun, and developmentally appropriate physical activities that promote coordination, motor skills, healthy habits, teamwork, and self-confidence.
